The Radio Lollipop Volunteers never forget that they are working in a clinical environment and alongside medical professionals. While Play is vital to a child's well being there will be times when it needs to take second place to the treatment and medical care. This is why our volunteers are trained to work in partnership with the medical teams. Always ensuring the child's welfare is put first.
But you'll be amazed at the fun a live studio can bring to this environment. Radio Lollipop works closely with the leadership teams in 37 hospitals across 5 countries to ensure we are able to provide the best complementary care for children through play and entertainment.
SPREADING HAPPINESS WORLDWIDE
From the very beginning of Radio Lollipop it has been an ambition to provide a volunteer service in every children's hospital around the world. While this is still a long way off, the charity has expanded its services and is now working in the UK, AUSTRALIA, USA, SOUTH AFRICA and NEW ZEALAND.
Smiles are quite literally international, and the objective is to continue spreading the happiness where ever we can.
